This ongoing study titled ‘The Pit’ is an attempt to alchemize my own depression through visual form. In creating each piece I experiment with levels of shine and viscosity.
I hope this series resonates with anyone who has ever experienced derpressing, or battles with it everyday. ‘The Pit’ is a concept all to familiar to those who live with depression and battle to stay out of the pit everyday, and what it feels like to be in the pit so deeply that getting out feels near to impossible.
